India achieved a one-two finish in the women's 10m air pistol event at the ISSF World Cup 2026 in Munich on Friday, with Suruchi Singh winning gold and Esha Singh taking silver.

Suruchi, who earned three individual ISSF World Cup gold medals last season, demonstrated composure under pressure by finishing on top with 242.1 points following a strong performance in the elimination rounds, according to Olympics.com. This gold medal represents Suruchi Singh’s seventh at the ISSF World Cup circuit and adds to her record, which includes an individual gold at the ISSF World Cup Final in Doha last year.

Her victory also earned the 20-year-old a direct qualification spot for the ISSF World Cup Final in Rome, scheduled for December this year.

Esha Singh secured silver with 241.2 points, finishing less than a point behind Suruchi in a closely contested final. The reigning Asian champion had earlier won the women’s 25m pistol title in Munich this week with a world record score.

The bronze medal went to Choo Gaeun of South Korea, who scored 220.2 points.

The final included Celine Goberville, the silver medallist at the London 2012 Olympics, who finished sixth with 158.6 points.

During the qualification round, Muskan was the highest-placed Indian, finishing sixth with a score of 579-16x while competing under Ranking Points Only (RPO). Suruchi Singh and Esha Singh qualified eighth and ninth, respectively, both registering identical scores of 578.

Manu Bhaker finished 20th with 575-17x, missing her second successive final in Munich. She is scheduled to next compete in the 10m air pistol mixed team event.
