Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended greetings to the public on the occasion of Narasimha Jayanti, expressing his hope that the blessings of Lord Narasimha encourage courage, righteousness, truth, and devotion in everyone's lives.

Speaking to X, the Chief Minister said, “Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of the Jayanti of Lord Shri Narasimha Ji, the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the protector of the unwavering devotion of devotee Prahlad. May the grace of Lord Shri Narasimha Ji always illuminate courage, righteousness, truth, and devotion in everyone's life.”

Earlier, on Wednesday, CM Adityanath reflected on the state's condition before 2017, stating that Uttar Pradesh was dominated by dynastic politics, casteism, riots, and lawlessness, which made development, employment, and fresh investment difficult to imagine. Speaking at the inauguration of the Ganga Expressway in Hardoi, he said the state has undergone a significant transformation under the “double-engine government” during the past nine years, evolving into a hub of modern infrastructure and economic growth.

He added that Uttar Pradesh now features an extensive network of expressways, highways, and rural roads stretching nearly 400,000 kilometres, which is playing a crucial role in accelerating development and attracting investments across sectors.

CM Adityanath stated, “Before 2017, Uttar Pradesh was trapped in dynastic politics and casteism, in riots, disorder, curfews, and an atmosphere where mafia influence ran parallel systems. In such a chaotic environment, one could not even imagine development, employment, or new investment. I am pleased to say that in the past nine years, the result of the double-engine government is visible in Uttar Pradesh today. We now see an excellent network of expressways, highways, and rural roads spanning 400,000 kilometres across the state.”

He also highlighted that in December 2021, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for a major expressway project despite the challenges posed by the global COVID-19 pandemic. The government expedited land acquisition to ensure the project progressed with a clear vision and adhered to its timeline.
