Separately, on Wednesday, two individuals accused of kidnapping a one-and-a-half-year-old child sustained injuries in an encounter with police in the Hulasi Phatak area of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, officials confirmed. The child was rescued and returned to their family.

The accused, identified as Yogesh and Pawan, were intercepted after police received information about the abduction from Manauna village, according to South Superintendent of Police Anshika Verma. A case was registered under relevant legal provisions, and five police teams were formed to locate the missing child.
