Vikasnagar Dhamaka secured a comprehensive eight-wicket victory against Selakui Strikers in a rain-restricted seven-over match at the Abhimanyu Cricket Academy Ground during the Dehradun T20 League 2026 on Monday.
Captain Vishal Kashyap was the standout performer, scoring an unbeaten 53 runs from 20 balls as Vikasnagar successfully chased the target of 69 runs in 5.3 overs.
After winning the toss, Vikasnagar chose to field and quickly established control. Their bowlers executed disciplined spells, restricting the opposition’s scoring opportunities. Vinay Aswal was the most effective bowler for Vikasnagar, taking two wickets for 16 runs in his two overs, while Goldie Malik claimed one wicket for 15 runs in his single over.
Selakui Strikers started cautiously but sought to accelerate in the middle overs, finishing their seven overs at 68 for three wickets. Nitish Joshi top-scored with 35 runs off 13 balls, including three fours and three sixes, supported by Sanskar Rawat’s 14 runs from 12 balls with two boundaries.
In response, Vikasnagar Dhamaka began aggressively. Vishal Kashyap dominated the innings with powerful strokes all around the ground, hitting two fours and six sixes. Kunal Chandela offered valuable support, contributing 13 runs from eight balls. Vikasnagar reached 74 for two to complete their victory emphatically in just 5.3 overs.
