Dacoit OTT Release: The Internet has lately been buzzing with the talk of Dacoit: Oka Prema Katha, Mrunal Thakur, and Adivi Sesh's long-awaited thriller drama.
The film, directed by Shaneil Deo, is now set to hit theaters on April 10, 2026, nearly 15 days after its previously scheduled date of March 27, 2026.
Written by Shaneil Deo, Yash Eshawari, and Abburi Ravi, the movie tells the tale of a wrongfully convicted man who somehow manages to break out of prison, driven by rage and passion. Determined to take revenge on his enemies and reunite with his lost lover, the guy embarks on a quest, triggering a series of heated romances in the backdrop of the gloomy world of crime and violence.
While Dacoit: A Love Story hasn't even made its theatrical premiere, fans have already started making speculations around its OTT premiere. The latest update on the same is that Amazon Prime Video has acquired the official digital streaming rights of the bilingual movie for a fancy price. This suggests that after completing its journey on the big screens, the film will make its digital debut on Prime Video, offering quality entertainment to the masses right from the comfrot of their homes. However, the exact date of the film's arrival on the digital screens is yet to be confirmed by filmmakers.
Adivi Sesh, Mrunal Thakur, Anurag Kashyap, Atul Kulkarni, Prakash Raj, Zayn Marie Khan, Sunil, and Vaibhav Tatwawadi have played key roles in Dacoit. Supriya Yarlagadda has bankrolled the movie under the banner of Annapurna Studios, S.S. Creations, and Suniel Narang Productions.
