Braga grabbed a dramatic 2-1 victory against Freiburg in the Europa League semi-final first leg after Mario Dorgeles scored in stoppage time.

The Portuguese side looked dangerous from the beginning, survived difficult moments during the match, and finally found the winner in the 92nd minute. Freiburg now head into the second leg under serious pressure after losing late in Portugal.

A Wild Night In Portugal

Semi-finals are usually tense. This one felt tense from the very first whistle.

Braga started fast and looked hungry. The home crowd pushed them forward again and again. Freiburg tried staying calm, but Braga's movement inside the box created problems early.

The opening goal arrived in just eight minutes.

Victor Gomez delivered a dangerous low cross into the area, and Demir Ege Tıknaz reacted quickest to poke the ball into the net. The stadium exploded. Braga fans knew how important an early goal could become in a European semi-final.
