A tragic incident reported from Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, has created both fear and confusion across the country. After the death of four members of a single family in the Paydhuni area, a question has emerged-can eating biryani and watermelon together, or within a short gap, lead to sudden death?

According to reports, nine members of the family had eaten biryani around 10 PM. A few hours later, at around 1:30 AM, four of them consumed watermelon. Soon after, their health began to deteriorate rapidly. They were rushed to the hospital, where all four eventually died. The exact cause of death is yet to be confirmed, as the postmortem report is awaited.

Following the incident, discussions intensified on social media and among the public regarding whether this food combination could be fatal. Experts have clearly stated that consuming biryani and watermelon together-or with some time gap-is not inherently dangerous.
