Meta own social media platform has rolled out a new feature which allows users to record the carousel post on Instagram afteruploading it.
Users who love posting multiple photos and videos in a carousel post on the social media platform was frustrated by not beingable to record them after uploading but now with the launch of new feature the platform has resolved the issue of users
The new feature allows users to easily reorder images or videos in a carousel by simplylong pressingand draggingthe postto their desired position.
As per 9to5mac,here’show to reorder a carousel:
Step 1: Tap on your profile, then tap on a carousel post;
Step 2: Tap the “…” menu in the top right corner;
Step 3: Tap “Edit”;
Step 4: Long-press a photo or video, then drag it left or right to reorder it.
Carousel reordering might not be accessible to all usersat the moment, but this featurewill be rolled out for every user gradually across regions.
Theimportant pointthat users should keep in mindis thatthis is only a reordering feature. Adding new media to an existing carousel is still not possible.
In August 2024, the platform expanded the carousel limit to 20 images or videosfrom 10 pictures andvideos,allowingusersto sharericher and more detailed storytellingfor their friends and followers.
