Samsungis all-set to launch its new handset in India, the Galaxy M17e 5G. The device will be launched on Monday, 17thMarch. As per the tech giant, the upcoming device is developed f or delivering reliable performance for communications, content consuming, and everyday use.
The device will featurea MediaTekDimensity6300 5G chipset and will run on One UI 8 based on Android 16.
Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G features and specifications
The upcoming smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display is also said to support High Brightness Mode (HBM) along withAdaptiveBrightness,which adjusts the brightness of display as per ambient lighting conditions.
The device will be powered by the MediaTekDimensity6300 5G chipset paired with an ARM Mali-GPU tomanage the graphic processing for multimedia and basic gaming. The device runs on One UI 8 based on Android 16. The company claims that thedevice will support sic generations of Android OS upgrades along with six years of OS updates.
Speaking about security, the upcoming device consists of Samsung Galaxy Knox Vault, which according tothe companyhas received Evaluation Assurance Level 5+ (EAL5+) certification and has passed stringent safety testing standards.
As per the company, the Galaxy M17e 5G features a Now Bar that provides real-time updates and live notifications highlighting active tasks. The upcoming handset also supports large folders on the home screen for easier apporganisation.
The device also features Google Gemini AI capabilities along with Circle to Search support.
