Chinese tech manufacturing giant Xiaomihas launchedits new tablet Xiaomi Pad 8 in India on Tuesday, 10thMarch 2026.The company has launched the device in mid-range segments for students, professionals and users who want it just for entertainment and content streaming .

Thenewly launcheddevicefeatures an 11-inch 3.2K display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and peak brightness up to 800 nit. The device also has support for Dolby Atmos and Dolby vision.
Thetabletis powered bySnapdragon 8s Gen4 chipsetpaired with LPDDR5TRAM andUFS 4.1 storage.The company claims thatprocessors offeraround 32 per cent improvementin CPUperformance and over 50 per cent improvement in GPU performance compared to earlier models.The tablet runs on XiaomiHyerOSwith AI features and cross-device connectivity. The device is packed witha9,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging support while the boxcontainsthe 67W charger.
The company promises four years of Android OS updates and sixyearsof security updates. The device also supports Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro, whichoffers16,000 pressure levels and sub-1ms latency. The stylus also supports rotation detection for sketching and annotation. The device can also be paired with the Xiaomi Pad Keyboard and Focus Keyboard.
