Guwahati: Assam down town University (AdtU) recently hosted an engaging session on "AI in Healthcare: Transforming Tomorrow," with Laina Emmanuel, Co-Founder and CEO of BrainSight.AI, as the keynote speaker.
The session provided students with an opportunity to explore the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in the healthcare sector and its impact on the future of medicine.
Discussions focused on how AI technologies are transforming diagnostics, patient care and medical innovation, enabling faster, more accurate and personalised healthcare solutions.
Participants were also introduced to emerging areas such as Human Connectomics, MRI advancements and tractonomy, offering insights into developments shaping modern neuroscience and research.
During her presentation, Emmanuel highlighted BrainSight.AI's work in neurosurgery and the importance of precision-driven innovation.
"Our VoxelBox platform has enabled neurosurgeons with sharper, more detailed, and previously unknown insights into brain functionality, helping them plan surgeries with greater precision and confidence," she said.
The interactive session allowed students to engage directly with the speaker and gain a better understanding of career opportunities in AI-driven healthcare and technology.
