MBOSE SSLC Supplementary Exam 2026 dates announced; registration begins April 14

Shillong: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has announced that the Supplementary Examination for the SSLC 2026 will be conducted in early May, following the declaration of the annual results.

According to an official release issued from Tura on April 7, the online application process for the supplementary examination will begin on April 14 and conclude on April 21.

The exams are tentatively scheduled to be held between May 1 and May 8.

Students who were unable to clear the main SSLC examination will be eligible to apply through designated centres, which will be notified separately.

The announcement comes on the same day the SSLC 2026 results were declared, with Gorkha Pathshala School emerging among the top-performing institutions.

This year, a total of 48,623 students from 719 schools appeared for the examination across 171 centres. Of them, 42,228 candidates successfully cleared the exam.

While 33,124 students passed in all six subjects, another 9,104 cleared five subjects.

The overall pass percentage stood at 86.84 per cent, registering a marginal dip from last year's 87.10 per cent.
