GUWAHATI: With just three days to go for the assembly poll results in Mizoram and anticipation brewing over the outcome, exit polls have been pouring in from a number of pollsters about the state's potential political scenario.

The exit poll results released by Jan Ki Baat forecast that the Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) might secure a significant lead with 15-25 seats, positioning itself as a formidable contender.

Meanwhile, the ruling Mizo National Front (MNF) is anticipated to clinch between 10-14 seats, indicating a competitive race for the incumbent.

The remaining political parties collectively fall within the range of 1-5 seats.

Earlier on November 7, the state reached about 78.40% voting during the single-phase polls. A total of 174 candidates are vying for the 40 Assembly seats.
