Guwahati: Progressive Fertichem Private Limited has signed a long-term offtake agreement with Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) for the annual supply of 52,500 metric tonnes of sulphur, marking a major step towards securing critical raw material requirements for the company's operations.
The agreement is expected to strengthen Progressive Fertichem's supply chain stability and support its long-term growth plans through assured access to sulphur, a key industrial raw material.
Company officials said the partnership reflects Progressive Fertichem's focus on building reliable and value-driven collaborations with leading industrial enterprises to ensure sustained operational efficiency and raw material security.
Senior officials from NRL present during the signing ceremony included Rangkisan Khongwir, CGM Marketing; Pratul Saikia, CGM Finance; Suman Goswami, GM Marketing; along with officials from Marketing and Finance departments.

Progressive Fertichem was represented by its Managing Director, Pijush Kanti Dey and Director Lila Kumar Saikia.
The company also acknowledged the support and cooperation extending by NRL in finalising the arrangement.
According to officials, regular coordination and discussions on commercial, financial and procedural aspects played a key role in successfully concluding the agreement.
