The State Election Commission (SEC) has directed re-polling at two polling stations under the 10-Kulai-Champhahour (ST) constituency of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC).

This decision follows reports of irregularities during the recently held voting process for TTAADC elections.

As per an official statement, the repoll will be conducted at 3-Bhattimoydan S.B. School and 17-Ramdeb Thakur Para S.B. School polling stations.

The decision was taken after reports from the District Election Officer, Returning Officer and other poll officials pointed to irregularities during voting hours.

The report highlighted procedural lapses and irregularities, prompting the Commission to take action.

Taking cognizance of the findings, the State Election Commission declared the polling conducted at the two stations as void.

Fresh polling has been scheduled from April 16, 2026, between 7 am and 4 pm.
