National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Junior Technical Assistant (JTA) in 2026.

No. of posts : 1
Salary : Rs. 25,500/- per month
Essential Qualification:
Graduate degree in Science / Pharmacy / Life Sciences / Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or a related discipline from a recognised University, with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable Experience:
1. The candidate should have previous experience in tissue trimming, processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining, preparation of frozen tissue sections, immune histochemical staining media preparation, Handling of Haematology and Biochemical samples/Analyser,
Biomedical Waste Management, etc.
2. Hands-on experience in laboratory work, including preparation of reagents, buffers, and chemical solutions.
3. Experience in handling laboratory animal handling/methodology, maintaining records/ logbooks.
4. Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years
