Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 200 vacant positions or career of Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) in 2026.

Scale of Pay : Pay Band-2 of Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 6,200/- plus other allowances as admissible from time to time.

Age : A Candidate should not be less than 18 years as on 01/01/2026 and not more than 40 years of age as on 01/01/2026

For Direct recruitment to the cadre of Veterinary Field Assistant, a candidate shall have to pass the full-time HSSLC (Class 12) examination in Science stream with Biology as one of the subjects from recognized Board/Council/University.
