Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of one (01) Project linked Research Engineer purely on temporary basis to work for the project "On-Demand Compute Management using Formal Methods" to be carried out at the Electronics and Communication Sciences Unit, Kolkata in 2026.

Qualifications :
B.Tech./ B.E./ M.Sc./ M.Tech./ MCA/ Ph.D. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Mathematics/ Statistics or equivalent. A candidate with knowledge in Formal Verification, Telecommunication and a good skill in programming is preferable.
Pay : A consolidated pay ranging between Rs. 25000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) to
Rs. 35000/- (Rupees thirty five thousand only) per month depending on the qualification and
experience of the selected candidate.
Age : Should not exceed 35 years as on 10 April 2026. Age limit is relaxable for exceptionally
bright candidates with relevant research experience. Usual relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Women/ differently abled candidates will be applicable as per Government of India norms.

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 10 April 2026 (Friday) at 11:00 a.m. in the Electronics and Communication Sciences Unit of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata
