Bhubaneswar: As part of its ongoing 'Odia Pakhya' celebrations, TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) organized the 'Aasa Bahitie Kiniba' (Come, Let's Buy a Book) campaign to promote the state's rich literary heritage.
In collaboration with ‘Ama Odisha’, a special book exhibition was hosted at the TPCODL Power Distribution Technology Centre in Bhubaneswar. The event saw enthusiastic participation from employees and the general public, who gathered to purchase, read and gift books.
The exhibition featured an extensive collection of literature focusing on Odisha's diverse art, culture and history.
The initiative aims to honour the stalwarts of Odia literature by encouraging a culture of reading and supporting the works of local authors.
TPCODL CEO Arvind Singh and COO Dushyant Kumar Tyagi attended the event alongside other senior officials. The leadership team actively participated by purchasing books and advocating for literature as a meaningful gift.
TPCODL is observing ‘Odia Pakhya’ from April 1 (Odisha Dibasa) to April 14 (Odia New Year), hosting a series of events to celebrate the linguistic and cultural identity of the state.
