Mumbai: Bollywood is buzzing with excitement as Alia Bhatt's much-anticipated action thriller Alpha gears up to hit theatres a week earlier than planned.

Originally slated for July 10, the film will now roar onto screens on July 3, giving fans an adrenaline rush ahead of schedule.

The decision, taken by producer Aditya Chopra, comes after Dhamaal 4 shifted its release to July 17. By advancing Alpha, Yash Raj Films secures a wider box-office window and avoids a clash with the comedy franchise. With no major Bollywood release on July 3, the makers are eyeing a grand solo opening.

Positioned between two comedy capers, Welcome to the Jungle (June 26) and Dhamaal 4 (July 17), Alpha promises to break the laughter streak with high-octane action. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film stars Alia Bhatt in a groundbreaking lead role, alongside Bobby Deol.

Significantly, Alpha marks the first female-led entry in the YRF Spy Universe, a milestone for the blockbuster franchise. After multiple production delays, the film's early arrival is set to electrify audiences and reaffirm Alia's status as Bollywood's action queen.
