The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will host its annual awards ceremony, 'Naman', in New Delhi on March 15, where five Indian teams that secured ICC titles over the past year will be honoured.
BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia said the event will celebrate India's remarkable run in international tournaments across formats and age groups, while also recognising standout performers from international and domestic cricket during the 2024-25 season.
Speaking to IANS on Tuesday, Saikia confirmed that members of the men's T20 World Cup-winning squad will attend the ceremony along with their coaches. The senior women's team, the Under-19 boys' team and the Under-19 girls' team that lifted ICC trophies in 2025 will also be felicitated at the event.
"We will invite all the ICC tournament winners, including the recent T20 World Cup champions, along with their coaches. Apart from the senior men's team, the senior women's team, U19 boys and U19 girls teams who won titles in 2025 will also be honoured," Saikia said.
According to sources, the ceremony is expected to be held at a five-star hotel close to the airport, considering several players from the men's team will soon join their Indian Premier League franchises for pre-season camps ahead of the tournament beginning on March 28.
Saikia added that India's Champions Trophy-winning squad from 2025 will also be felicitated.
Earlier, the BCCI had announced a record cash reward of ₹131 crore for the 2026 Men's T20 World Cup-winning team and support staff, an increase of ₹6 crore compared with the reward announced for the 2024 champions.
