Odisha Bhaskar 1 week ago

Bhubaneswar: Odisha is set to roll out the red carpet for investors in the national capital, with a two-day investment outreach programme beginning August 7 in New Delhi.

The initiative, aimed at deepening industrial partnerships and attracting high-value investments, will be led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

A high-level delegation including Industries and Skill Development Minister Sampad Chandra Swain and senior officials will accompany the CM. The outreach will engage leading industrial houses, MSMEs, downstream enterprises, and business associations across sectors critical to Odisha's next phase of growth.

In collaboration with ASSOCHAM, the state will host Odisha Food Pro 2026 on August 7, showcasing the state's rich agricultural and marine resource base, food processing ecosystem, logistics connectivity, and policy framework. The programme will feature industry experience sharing, release of a Knowledge Report, signing of investment MoUs, and direct interactions between state leadership and prospective investors.

Officials say the roadshow will spotlight opportunities in processing, packaging, cold chain, and value-added activities, while opening wider markets for Odisha's farm-to-market products.
