Bhubaneswar: The 61st edition of the Miss India pageant concluded with a glittering finale at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Bhubaneswar on Saturday, celebrating the theme 'Daughters of This Soil'.

Sadhvi Satish Sail of Goa was crowned Miss India 2026, succeeding Nikita Porwal and will go on to represent the country at Miss World 2027.

The event, hosted by Maniesh Paul and Sarah-Jane Dias, featured energetic performances, including one by Ishaan Khatter, adding to the evening's spectacle.

The top three finalists impressed judges with both their articulation and style during the final rounds. Winner Sadhvi stood out in a striking silver-and-black gown with geometric metallic detailing and a structured silhouette, paired with a sleek bun that accentuated the outfit's high neckline.

First runner-up Rajnandini Pawar from Maharashtra opted for a soft blush-pink gown with floral embroidery and a crystal-embellished halter bodice, styled with voluminous waves for a classic pageant look.

Second runner-up Sree Advaita showcased a gold, body-hugging gown with intricate beadwork and sheer sleeves, completing her look with statement earrings.
