Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh took to the skies in one of America's most advanced fighter jets, the Boeing F-15EX Eagle II, during his visit to Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada on April 9.

Flying alongside US Air Force Major Matthew Benson of the 85th Test and Evaluation Squadron, Singh experienced firsthand the capabilities of the Eagle II, hailed as a premier air superiority platform vital to operations in the Indo-Pacific region.

The sortie was part of Singh's broader tour of Nellis, a hub for advanced combat training and operational testing. US officials said the flight offered the Indian Air Chief valuable insights into the aircraft's role in modern air warfare.

During the visit, Singh also held discussions with senior US Air Force leaders, including Brigadier General David C. Epperson, commander of the US Air Force Warfare Center, underscoring growing defence cooperation between the two nations.
