A 33-year-old Malaysian man has officially entered the Guinness World Records for possessing an astonishing 42 teeth, which is 10 more than the average human adult.

Prathab Muniandy, who works in the oil and gas sector, currently holds the global title for the highest number of teeth in a male mouth.

The father of one first noticed the unusual dental growth during a family gathering in 2021. While sipping tea with his relatives, he felt additional teeth emerging. A quick count by his family members revealed 38 teeth, and a subsequent dental X-ray confirmed that four more were yet to surface.

By early 2023, his tooth count had officially reached 42.

Surprisingly, the extra teeth have grown in a straight alignment and cause absolutely no discomfort. Muniandy maintains a strict oral hygiene routine by brushing twice daily and flossing regularly. He noted that people rarely notice his unique dental structure at first glance but are often left astounded when he reveals his record.

Medical experts confirm the condition has not negatively affected his overall health.
