President Murmu praised Odisha's resilience and sacrifice, recalling its role in the freedom struggle and nation-building. "Odisha's invaluable contribution continues to inspire all of us. Its talented and hardworking people are playing a significant role in the journey of Viksit Bharat," she posted on X, invoking blessings of Lord Jagannath.

Prime Minister Modi described Odisha as a "timeless symbol of cultural and spiritual greatness," highlighting Odia music, art, and literature as treasures that enrich India. He applauded the determination and warmth of the people, wishing the state new heights of progress.

Vice President Radhakrishnan echoed similar sentiments, calling Odisha's history "glorious" and its people "indomitable."

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, in a video message, congratulated Odias across the globe, recalling the historic formation of a separate province on April 1, 1936.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah hailed Odisha as "India's pride," blessed with rich heritage and divine grace of Lord Jagannath. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan extended greetings to Odias worldwide, calling the day a celebration of identity and unity.

Every year, Utkala Dibasa is marked with cultural programs, parades, and tributes across the state. For Odias, the day is not just a celebration of history but a reaffirmation of identity honouring the leaders who fought for statehood and the people who continue to shape its future.
