US President Donald Trump has escalated tensions with Tehran, unleashing a barrage of slurs and profanity while threatening to "blow up the entire Iran" if a peace deal is not reached before his Tuesday deadline.
Speaking to American media outlets, Trump dismissed concerns over civilian casualties, vowing to strike vital infrastructure. "We're blowing up the entire country… Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one," he declared. On his Truth Social platform, he went further, writing: "Open the F***kin' Strait, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH!"
The remarks come as US, Iranian, and regional mediators negotiate a possible 45-day ceasefire that could pave the way for a permanent truce. Tehran has warned it will retaliate with similar attacks against Israel and Gulf states if Trump follows through.
Calling Iran "decimated" and "pounded like no country before," Trump insisted his actions would weaken the regime. Critics, however, argue that targeting civilian infrastructure could amount to war crimes, raising alarm over the president's inflammatory rhetoric and its potential consequences for regional stability.
