When most 13-year-olds are busy playing Roblox or watching videos, one boy from Ghaziabad has captured the nation's attention with his big entrepreneurial win.
Jaiwardhan Tyagi, just 13 years old, appeared on Shark Tank India Season 5 and secured a ₹60 lakh investment.
Jaiwardhan walked into the Shark Tank with a startup called Neurapexai, a tech product focused on healthcare using artificial intelligence (AI). Instead of games or social media, he chose to build something that could help real people with real health data.
What Is Neurapexai?
Neurapexai is an AI-enabled assistive health platform that helps doctors and patients make sense of complex medical information.
Here’s how it works:
· It can look at things like MRI scans, lab reports, and medical history.
· It uses AI to turn that complicated data into clear, easy-to-understand reports.
· The idea is not to replace doctors, but to make it faster and easier for doctors and patients to understand health results.
· Currently, the product is free for users, while monetisation is planned by working with hospitals and diagnostic labs.
This kind of technology could be very useful in places where doctors are busy and patients struggle to understand their medical reports.

How Jaiwardhan Impressed the Sharks
When Jaiwardhan explained Neurapexai to the panel, the sharks were impressed by his clarity, preparation, and confidence.
Some investors noted that the product was still at an early stage and not fully ready for large-scale business yet. Despite that, one shark, Aman Gupta was so inspired by Jaiwardhan’s vision that he invested ₹60 lakh for 5% equity.
Another shark, Ritesh Agarwal, chose not to invest money but offered mentorship and guidance. The deal valued Neurapexai at ₹12 crore, a huge number for a startup that was just one year old.
From Chess to Coding to AI: Jaiwardhan’s Journey
Jaiwardhan first got interested in chess, which helped him think strategically. Then he learned block coding and programming, which sparked his love for technology.
At age 10, he even tried building his own social media site and a rocket. The rocket didn’t work, but it showed his curiosity and ambition.
He credited his father, a mathematics professor, for helping him build strong logical skills. The idea for Neurapexai came after a friend suggested he work on something impactful for his resume and future.
Jaiwardhan’s story has become a source of inspiration for young creators and future entrepreneurs across India.
With the ₹60 lakh investment and mentorship support, Jaiwardhan now has the resources and backing to continue developing Neurapexai, potentially transforming the way medical data is understood and used in healthcare.
