On 24th February, the girl was sitting for her Mathematics board exam and suddenly she felt severe pain in her abdomen. Usually, during exams, children do feel anxious which leads to stomach trouble at times. And that’s what was expected for this student as well. When she asked to go to the washroom, she was allowed. But nobody expected what was coming up next.
Behind the closed door of the school toilet, she delivered a baby boy. When she didn’t return for a long time, the teachers went to look for her. And when they reached, they could hear an infant’s cry from the washroom. As soon as they heard the baby cry, teachers rushed in and they called the emergency services. Both the girl and her baby were taken to the hospital for care.

Doctors mentioned that the girl was around 34 weeks pregnant. So it was a premature delivery. The baby weighed just about 2 kg, so both mother and child needed careful monitoring in the hospital. Thankfully, both are stable, but premature births like this can be risky if not handled quickly.
How Could Parents Not Know?
One of the most surprising parts of this story is that her parents had no idea that she was pregnant. Investigations say that she confessed that she had met a boy during a dance competition and he had sexually assaulted her. And she had not mentioned this to her family.
But the question still remains - how could such a serious condition go unnoticed?
