The Perfect Recapture – Vaani Kapoor is stunned how Samsung Galaxy A70s recreated her childhood memory
One of Delhi girl Vaani Kapoor's festive memories of childhood go back to the Bonedi Bari at her close friend Ronita's home in Kolkata. The sights and sounds of the traditional household Durga Puja celebrations of 2004 at Ronita's bungalow are still etched in her mind like it happened yesterday.
When Samsung reached out to Vaani and asked her to share these memories, all that the actor had was a hazy, dark picture of Ronita and herself at the festivities. The festive moments were real and palpable in her mind, but there were no clear pictures that recorded those memories of her childhood.
Durga Puja is celebrated with great jubilation in the 'City of Joy'. The themed pandals, matching clothes, phuchka parties, late-night wandering, dhunuchi naach, and gossips make Durga Puja memorable. This festive spirit of Kolkata and the devotion that the city holds towards goddess Durga showed in the celebrations at the family Puja.
She recalled clearly the annual event was marked by visiting relatives and other festivities. Samsung decided to bring these precious memories back to Vaani, by recreating the Puja in exactly the same way she remembered it. The bungalow was decorated in the same way it had been all those years ago, the same people who had attended then were invited, almost 15 years later. To surprise Vaani, Samsung even managed to get Ronita to travel to Kolkata from London.
A stunned Vaani could only soak in the delight of the recreated memory, but Samsung decided to take it a level up. With the new Galaxy A70s' 64MP triple rear camera capabilities such as night mode, Super Steady Mode & also a 32MP front camera, Vaani delightedly took pictures of the event in all its glory, determined to re-create these memories by revisiting the rituals, dances, and camaraderie that Vaani remembered so well!
The 3D prism design and the Prism Crush Red colour turned heads as much as Vaani herself did. She experimented with the impressive features of her new phone to get stunning visuals. Unable to get the entire magnificent idol of Durga in one frame, Vaani switched to Ultra Wide mode to get a stunning picture of the Goddess. The Hyperlapse feature of the 64MP Triple Camera in the Galaxy A70s helped Samsung to create a beautiful time-lapse video of the entire setup of Bonedi Bari for Vaani.
The Galaxy A70s' Super Steady Video feature made sure she got pro-grade, cinematic, shake-free videos while she danced. Needless to say, the sAMOLED Infinity-U display gave an immersive experience while reviewing pictures and videos of the dance footage. When the day turned to night, Vaani was still clicking away using the Night Mode that gave bright pictures even in the dark.
Looking down on the celebrations while standing on the balcony, she was absolutely grateful to have relived the memory she fondly reminisced every year. Durga Puja, says a delighted Vaani, will never be the same again!
