In a suspected case of arson, a house was set on fire in Kaki's Derapathar area under Lanka in Assam.

The property belonged to Amar Das, who alleged that miscreants deliberately torched his residence. The Lanka fire incident has raised concerns, with the victim linking the attack to an ongoing land dispute. Following the incident, Amar Das approached the Kaki Police seeking action against the accused.

According to reports, unidentified miscreants set Amar Das's residence ablaze, causing extensive damage. Along with the house, a haystack and a teak tree on the property were also targeted and burnt.

Amar Das has pointed suspicion at two individuals, Malek Munchi and Mannath Ali, alleging their involvement in the incident. He claimed that the duo had earlier attempted to forcibly seize his land, indicating a possible motive behind the arson.
