Former police officer and BJP MLA from Bihar's Buxar, Anand Mishra, is set to return to Assam, this time not in an official capacity but as part of election campaigning.
Mishra will be visiting the state on a three-day schedule to take part in political outreach ahead of the upcoming elections.
According to the itinerary, he will begin his campaign in Tinsukia on April 5, followed by Lakhimpur on April 6, and conclude his visit in Nagaon on April 7.
The BJP MLA’s visit is expected to add momentum to the campaign activities in these districts as political parties intensify their efforts ahead of polling.
