A man went missing from the Hatigaon, Guwahati area under mysterious circumstances.
The missing individual has been identified as Bachon Ali, a resident of Sijubari.
According to family members, Ali has been untraceable since the night of April 29. He reportedly left home that evening but did not return, and since then, there has been no information about his whereabouts.
The family has lodged a complaint at the Hatigaon Police Station. Police have been informed about the situation, and efforts are understood to be underway to trace the missing person.
Earlier, yesterday, A 17-year-old girl, Afsana Begum, went missing from the Birubari area after leaving her residence on Friday morning.
A student of Arya Vidyapeeth College in Arya Nagar, Afsana, had left home around 11 am but failed to return by the expected time of 5:30 pm. When she did not come back, her family attempted to contact her multiple times, but her phone was found switched off.
With no trace of her even hours later, the family approached the Dispur Police Station and lodged a formal missing persons complaint.
