Cricket fans in Assam are gearing up for the high-voltage clash between the Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati on March 30. The opening match of the upcoming IPL season has already seen 70% of tickets sold.
The stadium is expected to witness a gathering of around 40,000 cricket fans, with the stands painted in the signature pink and yellow of the two teams.
For the convenience of students and local spectators, special ticket counters have been set up near the Brahmaputra riverfront in Uzan Bazar. Tickets for students are priced at Rs 799, while general spectators can avail tickets at Rs 1,499. The counters will operate on March 21 and 22 from 3 PM to 7 PM. Students will need to present a valid ID to avail the discounted price.
Additionally, a special ticket counter will be opened on March 24 at South Point School, located near ACA Stadium, from 11 AM to 5 PM. Rajasthan Royals continues its tradition of providing easy access for young fans through this initiative.
