Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday announced that the results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination are likely to be declared on April 10.
The Chief Minister made this announcement during an election campaign after students asked him about the result date.
While an official confirmation is yet to be issued, the Chief Minister stated that preparations for the result announcement are nearly complete. The final date is expected to be notified soon by the concerned authorities.
The HSLC examinations for 2026 were conducted by the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) between February 10 and February 27. The exams were held at 1,046 centres across Assam.
An official confirmation from the board is expected closer to the result date.
