In a strict step aimed at maintaining the spiritual atmosphere of the revered Kedarnath Temple, authorities have imposed a complete ban on the use of mobile phones within the temple premises.
As per the new directive, devotees will not be allowed to carry mobile phones inside the shrine. Activities such as clicking photos, recording videos, or making reels have also been strictly prohibited.
Temple Committee member Vineet Posti said the decision was taken to preserve the sanctity of the temple and ensure a smooth and peaceful darshan experience for pilgrims. With a large number of devotees visiting during the ongoing pilgrimage season, authorities are focusing on maintaining discipline and order within the premises.
He further warned that any violation of the rules will invite legal action, underlining a zero-tolerance approach by the administration.
Devotees visiting Kedarnath are now advised to follow the guidelines strictly and cooperate with officials to ensure a hassle-free pilgrimage experience.
