Bakrid holiday revised: The Punjab Government has revised the public holiday for Eid. According to an official notification, the Eid holiday will now be observed on May 28 instead of May 27, as announced earlier.

The decision was taken following a revision made by the Government of India, the state government said. As per the updated notification, all government offices, schools, and colleges across Punjab will remain closed on May 28.

Chief Secretary KAP Sinha has issued instructions regarding the change to officials in all districts.
