Amazon Prime Day 2026 arrives in India this July, bringing what the e-commerce giant describes as its most expansive shopping event yet.
This marks the 10th edition of the popular sale, with Prime members getting exclusive early access to blockbuster deals across electronics, fashion, home essentials and groceries.
Amazon confirmed the event will happen in July 2026, though specific dates haven't been revealed. Past trends suggest the sale typically runs for two to four days. Globally, Prime Day takes place in June across 22 countries including the United States, UK, Germany and France, while India, Japan, Brazil and Australia host their sales in July.
The sale will feature substantial price cuts on smartphones, laptops, televisions, home appliances, beauty products and daily essentials. Amazon promises new product launches and limited-time offers exclusively for Prime members. Past editions have delivered the lowest prices of the year on Amazon devices like Echo and Fire TV.
Amazon typically partners with leading banks to offer instant discounts on debit and credit card payments. Prime members using the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card can unlock unlimited 5% cashback on all purchases. Additional cashback of up to Rs 200 is available on orders exceeding Rs 1,399.
To access these deals, shoppers need Amazon Prime membership. India offers multiple plans: monthly at Rs 299, quarterly at Rs 599, and annual at Rs 1,499. Budget-conscious shoppers can opt for Prime Lite (Rs 799 annually) or Prime Shopping Edition (Rs 399 yearly) for shopping-only benefits.
The platform promises same-day delivery on over 10 lakh products, next-day delivery on 40 lakh items, and four-hour delivery on 40,000 top-selling products during the event.
This year's Prime Day represents Amazon's biggest sales push, combining aggressive discounts with enhanced delivery infrastructure to attract India's online shoppers. With the festive shopping season approaching, the July sale sets the stage for what could be record-breaking e-commerce activity.
