The unannounced handset is said to bring a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, a larger battery with quicker charging, and a sturdier metal frame, marking a clear step up from last year's CMF Phone 2 Pro.
According to an early report based on Android Headlines' information, the CMF Phone 3 Pro is expected to swap MediaTek silicon for Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. That would replace the Dimensity 7300 Pro used in the CMF Phone 2 Pro and the Dimensity 7300 seen in the original CMF Phone 1, promising a noticeable bump in performance and efficiency.
The CMF Phone 3 Pro leak suggests a battery rated at 5,090mAh typical, with an advertised capacity in the 5,400mAh to 5,500mAh range. That would be an upgrade over the 5,000mAh cell in the CMF Phone 2 Pro, paired with 45W wired fast charging instead of the earlier 33W support. The frame is tipped to shift from plastic to metal, while the triple rear camera layout may be subtly reworked, with the flash moving position and the third camera placed slightly farther from the other two vertically stacked lenses.
