Greenland 2: Migration will stream on Lionsgate Play from 24 April 2026, bringing the post-apocalyptic thriller directly to subscribers in India and other supported markets. In addition, the film will be available to rent on Amazon Prime Video from the same date, extending its reach beyond cinemas as part of Lionsgate's ongoing output arrangement with Amazon. Set after the comet strike that devastated Earth in the first film, Greenland 2: Migration finds the Garrity family leaving the safety of their Greenland bunker to cross a shattered, frozen Europe in search of a new home. John Garrity, now working as a scout and engineer, helps maintain a fragile community, while Allison emerges as a key leader holding survivors together. Their teenage son Nathan, eager to follow his father as a scout, is drawn into dangerous ground missions as the bunker begins to fail and an emergency evacuation is ordered. As tsunamis and collapsing infrastructure wipe out large numbers of survivors, the family is forced back onto the road, pushing the story into harsher, more intimate territory than the original.

Greenland 2: Migration is directed by Ric Roman Waugh, with a screenplay by Chris Sparling and Mitchell LaFortune. Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin return as John and Allison Garrity, joined by Roman Griffin Davis as Nathan, replacing Roger Dale Floyd from the first film.
