The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has changed the schedule for the MHT CET 2026 PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) subject examination to avoid clashes with other major national-level entrance exams.
As per the updated timetable, the PCM group exams will now be conducted from 11th April to 20th April, 2026. However, no examination will be held on 12th of April. The exam that was earlier scheduled for that day has been postponed to April 20. Previously, the exams were announced to be conducted between 11th of April and 19th of April.
This decision has comes after several students raised their concerns about overlapping exam dates with national-level tests which mainly included UPSC, NDA and NA (I) 2026, UPSC CDS (I) 2026, and NATA 2026 Phase 1 which was scheduled on 12th of April.
Based on these concerns, authorities have decided to reschedule the exam to ensure that students do not miss out on multiple opportunities.
Candidates who have already downloaded their city intimation slips are advised to revisit the official candidate portal from 5th of April to access the updated slips. These slips provide details such as district of exam centre and allotted exam date, helping candidates to plan accordingly (if there is a need to travel).
Moreover, students must re-download their MHT CET 2026 admit cards from the website starting from 7th of April. The updated hall tickets will include complete rescheduled information about the exam centre, address, date, and district.
The State CET Cell has requested all the candidates to carefully check the updated schedule and update their documents to avoid any confusion ahead of the examination.
