O Romeo OTT release is set to bring Vishal Bhardwaj's latest crime romance to home screens after its theatrical run.

O Romeo will be available to rent on Amazon Prime Video from 27 March 2026, giving viewers early digital access to the film.

The O Romeo OTT release for all Prime Video subscribers is expected in April 2026, with industry reports indicating a likely rollout in the second week of the month, though Amazon has yet to formally confirm the exact date.

Set in post-independence Mumbai, O Romeo follows the city as it rebuilds itself while an ambitious underworld quietly expands in its shadows. The film centres on Ustara, a feared contract killer, and Afsha, whose love, loyalty and dreams collide with a brutal criminal landscape that tests every relationship. Bhardwaj blends romance, revenge and power struggles into a dark, atmospheric portrait of a city where progress and violence move side by side.

The O Romeo OTT release is led by Shahid Kapoor as Ustara and Triptii Dimri as Afsha, marking their first collaboration under Vishal Bhardwaj's direction. The ensemble cast includes Nana Patekar as Ismail Khan, Avinash Tiwary as Jalal, Tamannaah Bhatia as Rabia, Disha Patani as Julie, Vikrant Massey as Mehboob Qureshi and Farida Jalal in a key supporting role. Bhardwaj directs and co-writes the film, which is inspired by Hussain Zaidi's work on Mumbai's underworld and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
