Amazon Prime Video has officially confirmed that Panchayat Season 5 will premiere sometime in 2026 as part of its new India slate, though a specific launch day has not yet been announced. The streamer has also reiterated that, like previous chapters, Panchayat Season 5 will stream exclusively on Prime Video in India and worldwide.

Behind-the-scenes footage shared by Prime Video on 3 April showed the cast and crew back on set, confirming that production on the new season is underway. Industry chatter suggests the series is likely to arrive closer to the end of 2026, allowing time for ongoing filming and post-production.

Alongside the Panchayat Season 5 OTT release date window, the makers have confirmed that Jitendra Kumar will once again lead the ensemble as Abhishek Tripathi, the engineering graduate who became the gram panchayat secretary of Phulera. Neena Gupta has playfully fanned speculation by joking about "scripts leaking," underlining how closely fans are tracking every rumour from the Phulera universe.
