PMC Proposes ₹61 Crore Flyover to Ease Shivajinagar Traffic

In a major task to tackle long traffic congestion in Shivajinagar, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has put forward the construction of a new flyover connecting Sakhar Sankul near the Agriculture College to the Old Mumbai-Pune Highway.

This focuses to reduce heavy traffic on the busy road between Agriculture College and Sancheti Hospital which witnesses everyday congestion affecting office-going, students, patients, and commuters.

This flyover has come up with an estimated cost of around ₹61 crore has been prepared by the PMC's Special Projects Department and has been already received budgetary approval.
