PMRDA Housing Lottery on April 8: Over 5,300 Applicants Compete for 1,029 Flats

The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) is planning to conduct a housing lottery for 1,029 flats on April 8, 2026, with 5,317 eligible applicants ready to participate.

This process will take place at 11 am at G.D. Madgulkar Auditorium in Akurdi, as per officials said.

A total of 5,367 applicants had applied for this scheme by paying the deposit amount at the very start. After verification process, 50 applications were rejected due to incomplete documents, leaving 5,317 eligible participants.

These applicants will now compete for flats under the PMRDA housing scheme.

The lottery process will be conducted using MHADA's IHLMS 2.0 system and it will ensure a fully automated and transparent process without human interference.

This process will be carried out under the supervision of PMRDA Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Chaudhari and the authority's monitoring committee.

All the applicants are invited to be physically present during the draw process by PMRDA. For those who will be unable to come will get a live streaming facility.
