Pune Airport has increased its flight slots from 220 to 235 by adding 15 new slots. This will help to manage passenger traffic in a better way , improve operations, and allow more travel options.
With this expansion, new flights will travel to places like Mangalore, Solapur, and Bagdogra will start soon, helping boost tourism, business, and regional connectivity.
This progress has been possible due to strong support from the Civil Aviation Ministry which has helped to improve the airport's capacity and connectivity.
Pune Airport is also connecting the city connectivity to smaller places like Nanded, Kishangarh, Sindhudurg, and Jalgaon under the UDAN scheme helping to improve regional travel.
With more flights and routes being added, the airport focuses to make travel easier for passengers and support economic growth. It also plans to expand further to meet increasing demand.
The new flight schedule will start from May 1, 2026.
