Pune International Airport has risen to become the leading airport in the nation regarding passenger satisfaction, according to the most recent Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Survey 2025 conducted by Airports Council International.
This ranking is solely based on feedback gathered from travelers, addressing essential factors such as the ease of check-in, cleanliness standards, security protocols, staff responsiveness, and the availability of passenger amenities. Pune surpassed numerous other airports, including those in Goa and Indore, to secure the top position.
Officials indicated that this recognition reflects ongoing enhancements in infrastructure and service delivery, propelled by collaborative efforts from airport authorities and operational personnel.
Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Pune MP Murlidhar Mohol praised the accomplishment, asserting that the ranking highlights the airport's dedication to improving the travel experience. He emphasized that continuous upgrades and a focus on passenger needs have been instrumental in achieving this top ranking.
The ASQ program is considered a global standard for airport performance, relying directly on user experiences rather than internal evaluations. Pune's impressive performance across various categories underscores its rising prominence among India's busiest and most efficient airports.
The official award ceremony is set to take place on March 31, 2026, coinciding with the anniversary of the Airports Authority of India.
