The Pune City Traffic Police have announced temporary road closures and traffic diversions on Wednesday 8th April in the Kondhwa area in on the occassion of the "Hindu Janakrosh Morcha."
The protest march which is organised by Sakal Hindu Samaj, Purandar Taluka, is expected to have a large crowd and will take place along the Saswad to Yewalewadi route. Authorities have taken precautionary measures to manage traffic congestion and ensure public safety.
According to an order issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Sandeep Bhajibhakare, the road from Khadi Machine Chowk towards Saswad will remain closed for the public from 7:00 AM onwards on 8th of April.
Travellers have been advised to avoid this route during the protest period.
To reduce inconvenience the traffic police have suggested an alternate route for vehicles heading towards Saswad:
Khadi Machine Chowk → Undri Chowk → Mantarwadi Phata → Dive Ghat → Saswad
The traffic changes have been carried out under appropriate sections of the Motor Vehicles Act to regulate movement during the event.
