A serious road accident on Nagar Road caused major delays on Thursday afternoon when a heavily loaded goods truck crashed into a divider near Aga Khan Palace.
The crash happened around 1:45 pm when the truck, which was transporting a large load of concrete bricks, reportedly lost control and hit the central divider. The damage was extensive, leaving the vehicle in ruins.
Witnesses reported that the impact of the crash destroyed the truck's structure, with parts of the chassis bent, the windshield broken, and debris scattered across the road. In some areas, the wheels seemed to have come off due to the force of the collision.
The accident resulted in significant traffic jams on this busy road, with vehicles moving slowly as police worked to manage the scene and clear the wreckage. Commuters experienced delays while authorities tried to restore normal traffic conditions.
There was no immediate information about injuries, and more details are expected as officials continue to evaluate the situation.
