Vivo V70 FE powerful launch delights India buyers looking for battery life, camera muscle and a bold design. This is a mid-range phone on price, but it is clearly pitched as a high-end all-rounder.

Vivo V70 FE price in India starts at Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB models are priced at Rs. 40,999 and Rs. 44,999 respectively. It will be sold via Vivo's own store, Flipkart and Amazon, with open sale scheduled to begin on 9 April following pre-orders.

Launch offers include up to 10 percent instant bank discount or cashback on select credit cards, no-cost EMI of up to 10-12 months and exchange benefits. Buyers can also bundle Vivo TWS 3e earbuds with active noise cancellation at Rs. 1,499 as part of the launch deal.

The Vivo V70 FE features a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and peak brightness up to 1,900 nits, aimed at smooth scrolling and bright outdoor visibility. It is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, depending on market. The phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top, and Vivo promises up to six years of security updates.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS and USB Type-C, while biometric authentication is handled by an in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset measures 163.7×76.2×7.59mm and weighs around 200g, which is relatively manageable given the large battery.

On the rear, the Vivo V70 FE carries a 200-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation, joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with 120-degree field of view and Aura Light support. The front houses a 50-megapixel selfie camera, and Vivo's AI imaging suite adds features such as AI Magic Weather, AI Magic Landscape, AI Four-Season Portrait and 30x AI-assisted super zoom.

The device is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance, supports underwater photography and debuts "Darkness Glow Technology", which allows the back panel in Monsoon Blue and Northern Lights Purple finishes to softly glow after UV or sunlight exposure.
